Active use trail system & open space
Longview Trail & Park
Longview park (formerly Smedley Tract) is a recent acquisition by Middletown Township in preserving open space for the community. The 76 acres park is still under construction, but plans are in place to put 1 baseball field, 2 softball fields, and 2 multi-use fields in place. The park currently includes a 1.1 mile long paved path that winds a figure 8 through the fields. A small portion of the path is crushed stone and wooden plank boards. Flat and easy to navigate. Good sledding during the winter as well.
