Indian Orchard Trail
Indian Orchards park and trail is near and dear to Outdoor Middletown, because this was the first tract of land that we helped identify and (with the help of homeowners, the township and it's residents), preserve for future generations.
Indian Orchards park is situated next to Indian Orchards Farm (highly recommended, www.indianorchardsfarm.com) and accessible from Middletown Road (352). There is ample parking and open space, picnic tables and trashcans.
The trail is wooded with moderate elevation gain, several streams, meadows and interesting topography. The trail is comprised of one main loop (about an hour) and 2 branch trails. The eastern branch connects back to Copes Lane, the same access road you drive in on, and the western branch connects to Linvill Trail (which connects again to Chester Creek trail!)
We recommend hiking the Indian Orchards Trail loop if you have an hour, but if you want a real expedition, continue all the way out to Lenni through Linvil and Chester Creek trail.
